Unless - ( যদি না ) if negative Clause.
Q. Work hard or you will fail. (Rewrite the sentence using 'Unless')
Ans- Unless you work hard you will fail. ( If you don't work hard you will fail )
Q.One word more and I will drive you out of this room.
Ans- Unless you stop talking I will drive you out of this room.
Q. Come here or you will be punished.
Ans- Unless you come here you will be punished.
( if you don't come here you will be punished )
Q. Finish the work or your teacher will rebuke you.
Ans- unless you finish the work your teacher will rebuke you.
( If you do not finish the work your teacher will rebuke you )
Note- Unless এর মধ্যেই Negative অর্থ (যদি না) আছে। তাই Unless এর পর Negative Element থাকবে না। Unless you speak মানে if you do not speak
Cannot But + V=help + Ving
Q. I cannot but do it.
Ans- I cannot help doing it.
Q. He cannot but laugh at what you say.
Ans- He cannot help laughing at what you say.
Q. We cannot but listen to his advice.
Ans- We cannot help listening to his advice.
Q. She cannot but take bath in the morning.
Ans- She cannot but take bath in the morning.
Q. I cannot but go to his house.
Ans- I cannot help going to his house.
Q. He could not but stand by his friends.
Ans- He could not help standing by his friends.
Too.....to....so.......that / simple to complex
Too........ To sentence pattern সাধরণতো sentence এর, আর so ... that ...... sentence pattern
হলো complex sentence এর।
Q. He is too weak to walk.
Ans- He is so weak that he cannot walk.
Q. He is too miserly to help you.
Ans- He is so miserly that he will not help you.
Q. She is too idle to make a good result.
Ans- She is so idle that she cannot make a good result.
Q. She is too shocked to cry.
Ans- She is so shocked that she cannot cry.
Q. The sum is too difficult for the boy to do it.
Ans-The sum is so difficult that the boy cannot do it.
Q. I am too tired to talk.
Ans- I am so tired that I cannot talk.
Q. She is too simple to realize all this.
Ans- She is so simple that she will not realize all this.
Q. You are too young to ask this question.
Ans- You are so young that you cannot ask this question.
Q. The man is too poor to buy all the books for his son.
Ans- The man is so poor that he cannot buy all the books for his son.
Q. He is too polite to insult anyone.
Ans- He is so polite that he cannot insult anyone.
Q- He is too clever to be deceived.
Ans- He is so clever that he cannot be deceived.
To+V=for +Ving
To eat খেতে/খাবার জন্য for eating-খাবার জন্য
Q. He came to me to read.
Ans - He came to me for reading.
Q. We go to school to learn.
Ans- we go to school for learning.
Q. We eat to live.
Ans- we eat for a living.
Q. Wait here to see the leader.
Ans- Wait here for seeing the leader.
Q. He came here to be rebuked.
Ans- He came here for being rebuked.
